It is a cylindrical component that is inserted in the upper part of a Cylinder Liner (in the position of a top dead center above the top land of the piston) which is inside the engine. It is also called Protection Ring, Fire Ring, or Anti-polishing Ring. GKNZ can produce scraper ring diameters ranging from Ø90-Ø250mm, using the same material and centrifugal casting process as our cylinder liners. The thermal expansion and heat conduction are the same as those of the cylinder liner, and the wear resistance is similar to or better than that of the cylinder liner. The annual output can reach 2.1 million pieces.
